Thanksgiving (last week here in the U.S.) is a favorite holiday at Nadine West, because it’s a welcome reminder to let everyone know how truly grateful we are to have each of you on our team. It’s also another opportunity for me to brag about what you all have accomplished.

When Nadine West was founded in 2014, it was our mission to establish a company that would deliver happiness and fun to the everyday woman. We wanted to do it right and to make sure Nadine West was Built-To-Last.

We wanted to make our customers’ faces light up every time they opened their mailboxes and saw a bright pink package waiting for them. We wanted to build a team that all of us would be proud to say we belong to.

So, with that mission in mind, here was our first warehouse.

(Drum roll….)

I know it doesn’t look like much, but everyone has to start somewhere, right? Inside of that warehouse were two founders who had no idea what they were doing — but believed in the mission and had faith they could one day assemble a team of All-Stars to make it happen.

Fast forward to 2021, and here is our warehouse in Austin.

How did we get here? What was the secret?

We got here by finding talented people like you. Brilliant, reliable, humble, growth-oriented people to lead teams, solve problems, and build a special company.

Sidney, Meredith, and I could not be more grateful to have the opportunity to work with each and every one of you. We are lucky to have you.

Thank you to the Buying and the Manufacturing Teams. This year, you have fought through supply challenges brought on by a pandemic like we’ve never seen in our lifetimes. You have scoured the globe to stock our warehouse with just the right selection of items. Amazing!

Thank you to the Data Teams. You are like Neo in The Matrix, using some kind of voodoo database magic to see insights and solutions, while the rest of us just see 0’s and 1’s. Brilliant!

Thank you to the Customer Service Team. You are the heart and soul of Nadine West. When customers rave about the Nadine West customer experience, it’s actually you they are really writing about. We love you!

Customer Service is Nadine West’s heart and soul.

Thank you to the Styling Team. As our customers’ personal stylists, you listen to each customer to understand her needs, like a good friend would. Then you put together those bright pink packages that customers are excited to see in their mailboxes every month.

Thank you to the Engineering Team. You are the smartest engineers I’ve ever worked with. Also, your friendliness and sense of camaraderie makes it a pleasure to work alongside you. In my head, I imagine that you all levitate in front of your computers as you code.

Thank you to the Warehouse Team. You are engine that makes Nadine West run. Everything depends on you and you always deliver. I know that some of our amazing customer happiness score is because customers know their shipments are “Packed with Love from Austin TX.”

Thank you to the Marketing Team. Your combination of creativity and analytical ability is the oxygen and the water we use to keep growing. I know it’s not easy, but, sometimes, you make it look so effortless.

Thank you to the Nadine West Support Teams (graphics, legal, finance, admin). You are the glue that keeps everything together — doing whatever is needed for all other teams to do their parts. We all appreciate you.

And, finally, thank you to the HR/Recruiting Team. It it because of you, that we have a team loaded with so many All-Stars. Your talent scouting and people management skills have built this amazing team. Many thanks!
