Ever since we began delivering happiness to our customers, one of our core values has always been to “focus on the system, not the score.”
This is part of the reason why, as I have mentioned in our Christmas message, our teams today are the strongest they have ever been. And they are continuing to get even better every day.
The plan for 2020, therefore, is to continue improving our systems. If we do that, the score will take care of itself.
So while I will give out a projection, how we get there is actually more important.
If we don’t hit projections, but we figure out ways to work more efficiently, we decrease errors, we reduce waste, and our customers are happier, then THAT’S A WIN.
If we hit our projections, but getting there meant lots of headaches, stress, overtime, and large teams, then we need to evaluate if it was worth it.
The plan for 2020 is to improve our systems, to eliminate waste, to automate, and to get more done in less time and with fewer headaches.
I would love to double in size by the end of 2020, but more importantly, I would like each of you to grow professionally and our company’s systems and processes to get stronger as a result.
