We all know that the most incredible people work at Nadine West. This weekend was proof.
Who runs the world? Nadine West. Here’s why (if you don’t want to read, scroll down for the photos and videos and you’ll get the point):
- Friday – everyone doing the same checklist they do everyday.
- Monday – everyone doing the same checklist they do everyday.
You would never guess what happened on Saturday and Sunday.
(This is in bold pink because it was so incredible I am shouting from the top of my lungs!)
But we moved the entire warehouse in 36 hours over the weekend.
804 RACKS STILL LOADED WITH INVENTORY. (450 without wheels – final video below to watch it happen)
51 PALLETS
44 TRUCK LOADS
9,442 cups of coffee, 7,268 slices of pizza (or at least it felt like it).
Our old warehouse was a “tiny” 20,000 square feet, and now we are in a more spacious mansion of 51,000 square feet (Can’t wait to fill it! Get ready to buy and style so many units. And give love and service to so many more customers!).
The move was a display of total excellence from so many people, but especially all team leads and warehouse managers: Bethy, Yadira, Alendy, Laura, Damarys, Alyssa, Abby, and Stephanie!
The moving company said:
This isn’t the biggest move we’ve ever done. This isn’t the fastest move we’ve ever done. But this was the biggest fast move we’ve ever done, and it was seamless thanks to your team’s preparation.
We’ve never had a client be so prepared and so organized. You ladies should open a moving consulting business.
A special HUGE shout out to Stephanie, Abby, and Laura for making the actual move happen. Not all heroes wear capes.
Stephanie project managed the entire operation, from new warehouse layout design to move execution, oh and also project managed necessary construction on a very tight deadline. Making miracles happen. She was literally jogging through the warehouse directing traffic.
Abby got movers to commit to a 36 hour move when they wanted 4 days for it, and made sure the internet was absolutely perfect for day 1. HUGE. And kept us all fed (so in a good mood).
Laura not only made sure the whole warehouse was ready to move on time but did such an exceptional job that the movers were shocked. They tried to hire her (No way, she’s NW 4eva!). She also made sure all the aisles were ready with back stock placed and all new locations assigned.
And now that you’ve sat through the words, here are the photos!
OLD WAREHOUSE PREPARED FOR THE MOVE (wee bit claustrophobic)
OLD WAREHOUSE ALL AISLES WRAPPED AND READY FOR TRANSPORT
OLD WAREHOUSE EMPTY (20,000 SQUARE FEET)
NEW WAREHOUSE EMPTY – MOVING IN WITH CONSTRUCTION IN PROCESS – NO TIME TO WASTE!
NEW WAREHOUSE OUTBOUND (30,000 SQUARE FEET)
NEW WAREHOUSE INBOUND (20,000 SQUARE FEET)
HOW THE MAGIC HAPPENED
Want more photos? Me too! The above images are all loaded in the drive here, but Stephanie and Abby please add the photos you took too!
